A Reflection of 2005

Year number three….. (letter was on wedding website, can not seem to find a copy so the details are foggy)

Jan: We both worked quite a bit and tried to relax a little. Jeremy did a lot of fishing and hunting.

Feb: Attended Tango Fest with Adam and Ragen in Portland for our “engagement anniversary”. Mary Kate lived with us for the month. It was fun to have someone to carpool to work with.

March: First weekend drove to Boise to move Mary Kate into her home and then flew to Portland for our Pilates certification. Went to Brazil for Steven and Lauana's wedding too! Beautiful! We had many adventures driving, riding horses, visiting a coffee farm (plantation), seeing the "big" cities, going to the beach, having a bridal shower, having the wedding and just having fun! April: Mom, Andrea and I had a girl’s weekend in Spokane to try on wedding dresses and make wedding preperations.

May: Relaxed at Spectical Lake, then a weekend of wedding planning in Seattle before flying to Chicago for NIRSA and then to Missoula to meet up with Jeremy. Safeway sent him to Missoula all month to help whip the Bakery into shape. We met Uncle Al and Aunt Peggy too! We drove back to Pullman!

June: Training month! Jeanna went to Portland again to finish our Pilates Certification and then Mary Kate, Alicia and I had a yoga training in Spokane.

July: The restful month - working, resting, sitting in the sun, and walking down to the coffee shop with Jeremy. Jeanna did attend the family garage sale at aunt Rose’s in OR. Jeanna and Jeremy also meet up with Andrea and Jacob at Neah Bay to just relax, play games, see Aunt Rose, Uncle John, Uncle Mark, Asia and buy lots of salmon fresh off the boat at a very inexpensive price. Yummy!

Aug: Andrea and Mom host Bridal shower in Sammamish. Beautiful! Marianne’s baby shower was also this month. Gravity machines were introduced to UREC - so cool - do try them if you ever have the chance! Promoted to Assistant Director.

Sept: First real estate training in Portland with Jason and Jeremy.

Oct: The Burgess Family Reunion! We had Melvin, Gerald, Lestor and Jason; Terri and Lenord; Jeanna and Jeremy; Peggy and Al; and the most famous of all - Achilles! We went all over town and into Penalton - having laughs, eating food, cooking p fudge, playing games, hiking moutains, and just having a good time! Achilles picked Jeanna out to take him home. Later, Jeremy & Kevin got a deer and we carved pumpkins.

Nov: Thanksgiving at the Lahnes, Jeremy smoked the Turkey, Received Freya as graduation gift.

Dec: Finished MBA! Made Gingerbread houses with Sara instead of "walking" for graduation. Athena joined the family. A few CHristmas pictures for you:
