Sara & Jason Wed: 7.06

SARA & JASON TIE THE KNOT, JULY 3, 2006
Life settled down for a little bit anyway after we traveled to Spokane to help make invitations in March. Then came Sara & Jason’s wedding! We had a bridal shower in Spokane for Sara (another cake from Happy Cakes!) It was a beautiful spring afternoon of great food, company, gifts, games and more! Jeremy had the task of outdoing the “best bachelor party ever” that Jason threw for him in February – so what did he do? Gave Jason just what he wanted the last weekend of June: all meat BBQ on Friday night, Bootcamp training Sat morning before 4 hours of paintball battles. Food, food, and more food! Then go-cart racing, dinner at El Gauchos, ice cream at Cold Stone and home for poker games! The boys had such a great time, they are making the paintball weekend an annual event.

So mark your calendars for June 23, 2007 (and similar June weekends for years to come). Anyone and EVERYONE is invited. The girls are even welcome. For those not interested in Paintball fun, there will the spa choice too.

The week between the bachelor party and the wedding, we stayed around to visit family and help with last minute wedding preparations. Sara and I had a lot of fun putting together party favors, memory cards and display board, getting our dresses altered, and more!

Jason married the love of his life, Sara, at a beautiful outdoor wedding on the Washington Peninsula July 3rd. You couldn’t have asked for a nicer day. It was gorgeous! We had more fun at their wedding than ours although we are still waiting to attend a wedding were we are just a burden and have no responsibilities. For the wedding – Jason was our best man and Jeremy was Jason’s best man – no questions! Sara was Jeanna’s bridesmaid and Jeanna was Sara’s. The wedding planner was awesome and that made our jobs a lot easier. The food was awesome and it was nice to see quite a few people we had not seen in a while. We did not make it to the fireworks that night – too tired after staying up all night setting up Jason and Sara’s wedding night nest with candles, towels,
flower petals and goodies. But we have pictures!
